Depending on project type (extension, conversion or upgrade), planning permission and the property size mapping out a design project can take a few weeks to months to properly coordinate. This is the most crucial pre-build stage - linking the various aspects of design and build including drawing approvals, delivery scheduling and installation timelines. For example, it can take up to 4 weeks to plan and approve a kitchen design. This is followed by an 8-12 week delivery plus a 2-3 week installation time which totals approximately 20 weeks or 5 months from concept to completion!

No matter how well your project is planned, unforeseen 'monsters' will raise heads and require technical and realistic solutions for quick resolves. Revised drawings reflecting design modifications will then be needed.
As your Design & Project Manager I provide full on/off site support, handle ongoing queries to communicate updated information across all teams and re-coordinate deliveries in tandem with installation shifts. I take control of daily operations to ensure the entire project is kept within budgets, specifications and completion timelines.
